Troop Cards for Care Packages. We will be helping out the Legion Auxiliary in Omro who sends out care packages 3-5 times per year to our area military stationed overseas.
Monthly, we'll gather to make all occasions cards for these military members so that they will have cards to send home to their family. Birthday cards - Thinking of You - Miss you and other occasions that the troops can have on hand to mail home!
Can't join us but would like to help? We will welcome donations of A2 envelopes, tombow, cardstock and/or completed cards.
If you can join us to help in the creative process, stamping and assembling of cards for the troops, you need only bring yourself but will be helpful if you can come armed with double-sided adhesives.
Our first two meetings will be held at the Carter Memorial Library in Omro the 2nd Thursday of the month from 4-7 (they close at 7 so clean up starts at 6:45pm). We will be adding alternative dates and times (some weekends) as we move through the year to make sure all who want to help can join in the fun to assist our troops!
