Crafty Challenge Blog Hop - Tropical Leaf Punch Bundle

Hello and welcome to the Craft Challenge Hop for May as part of the Crafty Collaborations.

I am using the Tropical Leaf Punch and Tropical Leaf Stamp set from the Online Exclusives now available at Stampin' Up!

The challenge this month is to interpret the following sketch:

To recreate my Tropical Leaf card using the leaves as the "scallops" you will need the following supplies:
Basic Black Card Base:  8.5" x 5.5" scored at 4 1/4
Basic White layer: 2" x 5.5"
Garden Green cs:  enough to punch out three leaves + 2 1/4" x 1.5 " pc
Lemon Lime Twist cs:  enough to punch out two leaves

I stamped the stems from the stamp set using Pecan Pie onto the Basic White Layer and then stamped leaves at the tops of the stems using Granny Apple Green.

The stamped basic white layer was adhered to the base so that a bit of black shows on the left.  Punch out five leaves and then alternate them along and tucked under the basic white to create the "scallops" of the sketch.

The THANKS SO MUCH sentiment was stamped in Memento Black onto the Garden Green, corner were rounded and dimensionals were used to adhere that to the front of the card.

Add a fun leaf to the inside and also to your envelope!
This is my very first time participating in a blog hop even though I've been making my own cards for 25 years and have been a demonstrator for just under 12 years.

Thanks for stopping by and continue on the blog hop to see what all my fellow hoppers are sharing!
