Stamping Dreams Blog Hop - In colors

The Crafty Collaborations team is comprised of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world. Each month, we participate in several collaborative projects including blog hops, like this one, to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.

The new In Colors Arrived last month and if you haven't used them yet - what are you waiting for?

I needed a simpler card for an upcoming event and also want to make sure all coming to my event are apprised of the new in color offering.   I chose the Silly Goose Stamp Set and the Fresh as a Daisy designer paper since it features all of the new colors.

To make this card you'll need:

A basic white card base 5.5" x 8.5"

A Boho Blue Card front 4.25" x 5.5"

A Basic White Layer 3.5" x 4.75"

A Basic WHite pc 2.5" x 1"

A Basic WHite pc big enough to punch out a 2 3/8" circle

Copper Clay Ink Pad, Pebbled Path Ink Pad, Moody Mauve Marker, Boho Blue Marker

Fresh as a Daisy DSP; one 1 1/4" strip cut into 3" pieces (3 of those are needed)

Lay the DSP pieces out on the 3.5” basic white so that there is ¼” on each edge and between the pieces. Once you have them the way you like them, tape them down.  Attach this layer to the Boho Blue card front.  Using Pebbled Path, Stamp the Birthday Goose on some Basic White and punch out (some of the bottom of the Goose will be missing.  I colored his balloon in Mauve, his hat in Boho Blue and used a watercolor pencil for his foot/beak.

Stamp the sentiment on some basic white and punch out the ends using the Happy Labels Pick a Punch.

Attach the Circle using dimensional to the card front and use dimensionals on the left of the sentiment to adhere to the card front (glue or tape where it attaches to the circle).  Add a card base and your done!
