September Showcase Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share. Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using anything current.

That is an easy one when you are constantly creating new things!  I used some new Mini Catalog items and the Earthen Elements DSP, Earthen Textures Bundle to create this card for a recent class showing the kintsugi technique and I thought I'd share it with you here. Kintsugi is a Japanese art technique for repairing pottery.  This card applies that technique to paper.

The Earthen Elements DSP  of 4" x 3"was torn into three pcs and then the fracture was made to stand out using heat and stick powder and the gilded leafing for the gold.

I ran the Basic White base thru the emboss machine using the new distressed Tile 3D embossing folder. The DSP was glued back together on a 4 1/8 x 3 1/8 piece of Pebbled Path

The Sentiment and Moody Mauve backing of the sentiment were punched out using the Happy Labels Pick a Punch and adhered with dimensionals.  The Pot was stamped with Moody Mauve and die cut the Ferns were stamped in Wild Wheat and die cut.  Those dies were adhered to the dsp with tape/dimensionals where they ran off the designer paper.

If you live in the United States and wish to purchase any of these products, you may visit my store at stampinjana.stampinup.net and click on the ShopNow button.
