Stamping With Friends - New Mini Catalog Hop

Hello and welcome. I am hopping with the Stamping with Friends Design Team members. We are a group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world share our love of paper crafting. Stamping With Friends are hopping today with a projects made with items found in our now live new Sept-Dec mini catalog!

Today I am sharing a fun Fall/Halloween card I made for my recent class.  The stamp set/punch bundle is Pick of the Patch.  I love stamp sets that serve multiple purposes and this one fits that bill.  Stamps can be used to make a Halloween card but also just Fall related cards and I love that as I don't usually make "Halloween" cards.

In my monthly classes, I like to offer a simple card.  A card that can be made without a die cut machine or a ton of supplies.  This card is made with a punch bundle but you would not necessarily need to buy the punch as the pumpkins could be cut out.

The four pumpkins were stamped in Pumpkin Pie ink on basic white.  I also used Garden Green to stamp the vines onto some of the pumpkins. The two biggest ones were punched out and the two smallest were fussy cut.  Garden Green was used to stamp a couple of leaves.  The crow was stamped using Memento Black where the pumpkin stack would top out.

Before taping down my pumpkins, I added falling leaves in Crushed Curry, Real Red and Cajun Craze on the background.  The sentiment is stamped in black onto a sliver of pumpkin pie and then a flag was punched into the front or you could easily just snip a flag if you do not have the banners punch.

The basic white front was framed with a mat of Basic Black card base.
