Crafty Collaborations Color Challenge

Welcome to the March Challenge which is a color challenge.  The Crafty Collaborations team is comprised of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world. Each month, we participate in several collaborative projects including blog hops, like this one, to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing. For this month's color challenge I chose to use the Berry Burst, Crushed Curry, Calypso Coral in my card (sorry Flamingo)

I was making cards anyway for an upcoming class and wanted to use the Cap & Gown set as graduation time will be upon us soon!  I used the Rays of Light with Crushed curry adding a few swipes of the Calypso Coral over the top to create the sunbeams.

The cap and gown were stamped with Memento black ink and cut out for positioning on the card front.  Basic Black creates the framing layer behind.

Berry Burst was used for the sentiment and the framing of the sentiment, which is also punched out using the Happy Labels Punch giving it the "ticket" ends.

This card will be used for my simpler/simple stamping example at class since stamp, ink and paper is all that is required (the punch is optional)
