Recently, I've been making these swing cards and trying to make the scoring and cutting easier without making boo-boos! I needed a sympathy card anyhow so had another go at the Swing card using the challenge colors.
Using Moody Mauve for my base at 5.5" x 6.75" and Granite for my mats, the stamping and the designer paper (from Winter Meadow) provides the Lost Lagoon color. The mauve is scored 1" in from the top and the bottom at 2.75" and 4". Then at 1.25" the cardstock is cut from the 1" down to the 4.5" (do this on both ends so at 1.25" and at 5.5" ) then cut across 1.25" to the score - do not cut across the score - start at the second score and cut to the 5.5)
The first view is the front of the card folded for mailing
Stamps come from the Quiet Meadow Bundle. DSP is 1" x 5.25" providing a border down both ends.
This third view is the card standing up - giving you an idea of the scoring and cutting needed.
