Year 13 of card making and teaching new techniques is underway! This month you will learn a modified Seagull Fun Fold Technique and of course we'll make three occasions cards using brand new mini catalog items and SALEABRATION ITEMS! Yes, its Saleabration once again where for each $50 you purchase, you can choose a FREE item...no limits on how many you can earn!
Card class is still $7 (yes, even after price increases!) or FREE class and cards with a minimum $25 order from active catalogs/active online exclusives. Every additional $25 purchase gains you a rewards point towards free paper or stamp sets! Bringing a "new to me" stamper will also gain you a rewards point! Sign up for any class a minimum of 24 hours in advance or earlier to help me plan. Sunday 1/7 at the normal 2 pm time at the Rushford Meadery 8389 Liberty School Rd in Omro. Friday night is EARLY so that we can travel on the 13th - so Friday night is 1/5 at 6:30 pm which is at Tanner's Tap and Grill 207 W Main Street since the Meadery is on winter hours. SUPPORT BOTH LOCATIONS BY PURCHASING A BEVERAGE - NO CARRYINS! Locations are getting harder to find and more and more $$$ so this is a small requirement for coming to class. Friday night - come early and have the fish fry! Fond du lac classes are Tuesday 1/9 at 4:15 and 6 pm at the Trinity Church basement at 400 E Johnson St in Fond du Lac. BYOB in a resealable container to prevent spills.
All classes require an rsvp - some classes fill up and no session is guaranteed so don't wait until the 24 hour deadline to rsvp. Yes, an rsvp is required because layers are prepared for your use and take time to do so. Bringing your own double sided adhesives is also required and a small scissors is always helpful.
Paper Shares will return in February - due to most orders being direct shipped it makes it hard to do paper shares especially during Saleabration if the total is not $50 before a paper share. We are leaving on 1/13 so getting things and dividing up the shares just doesn't work.
Bring a card to class or mail me a card to be included in the monthly card contest! We are currently collecting birthday/thinking of you/miss you type cards. All cards are donated to the Military card ministry providing cards to our military overseas giving them cards to send home to loved ones! Just before Thanksgiving about 250 cards were sent in care packages overseas. Audrey won the last time and cards are currently available on the blog for current voting.
