Crafty Collaborations January Sketch Challenge

 

This month demonstrators in the Crafty Challenge around the globe are using a sketch as inspiration to make a card for this challenge.  I needed to make a card anyway to send off as we just lost a friend and former neighbor to cancer and decided to use this sketch to challenge myself to make something different than I usually do.

I used the Saleabration set and Designer paper Softly Sophisticated and Softly Stippled to create this card.  The main color is Pool Party but the ink is Lost Lagoon and Wild Wheat.  Since we are traveling in our RV, I do not have a whole lot of ink colors with me!

The Stylish Shapes dies are used to create my banners across the front for the sentiment and the other parallel banners too.
